Bar-shouldered Dove

A friendly ground
feeding dove with a very pleasant call, the Bar-shouldered can be seen in large numbers during the
dry season gathered at concentrations of food. The introduced Spotted
Turtle-dove seems to be displacing the Bar-shouldered Dove in its southern
range.
