Bush Rat
Rattus fuscipes caracius

The Bush Rat is widespread and common along the forested East and South coasts of Australia. Although it is the most insectivorous of Australia's native rats it includes a wide variety of fungi, leaves, grasses, fruits and seeds in its diet.
