Alisterus scapularis

An immature King
Parrot feeding on the seeds of Callistemon
(Bottle Brush). King Parrots are usually found in small flocks and
are reasonably common in rainforest, wet sclerophyll and eucalypt-
woodland in eastern Australia. A very conspicuous and colourful
bird.
