The Long-nosed Bandicoot is
found on Cape York Peninsula in Queensland and south to Victoria. Often seen
digging conical holes in lawns in search of insect larvae, worms etc.
The female above has hidden her
young in the leaf litter....see below.
Body length: 400mm
Tail length: 140mm
Bodyweight:1.5kg
