Australian
Bush Cockroach
Molytria sp.

The bad behavior of the
introduced American Cockroach into Australia has given all cockroaches a bad
reputation. However we have a myriad of native cockroaches who are not only
highly attractive but provide a major service in the breaking down and recycling
of nutrients back into the system.
Australian native
cockroaches are widely distributed in both the wet and arid parts of
the country with the highest density found in the tropical north.
