Spangled Drongo
Dicrurus bracteatus

This very wet spangled Drongo has just had a bath and is drying in the afternoon sun. They are a spectacular flying bird as they swoop and twist after flying insects. An aggressive bird they often kill smaller birds. Their delicate basket shaped nests are high in trees, made from twigs and vine tendrils bound together with spiders web.
